Role: Speech Therapist Integrated Care & FIFO Outreach | Expression of Interest This is not a standard Speech Pathology role — and that’s intentional.St Louis Care is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated Speech Therapists who are interested in future opportunities across our integrated care services, including metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia through our established FIFO outreach program. This opportunity may suit clinicians looking to broaden their scope, work across diverse client groups, and deliver genuinely person-centred care in settings where access to Speech Pathology services is limited. Our Speech Therapists work across the full continuum of care — from paediatric and NDIS participants to older adults in residential aged care — supported by a collaborative and values-driven Allied Health team. Indicative responsibilities may include: - Assessing and treating speech, language, voice and cognitive-communication disorders
- Supporting clients with dementia, brain injury and neurological conditions
- Conducting dysphagia assessments and developing safe, practical swallowing strategies
- Delivering therapy across Home Care, NDIS (paediatric & adult), supported independent living and aged care
- Providing FIFO services to regional and remote South Australian communities
- Educating staff, carers and families on communication strategies and safe feeding practices
What we're looking for: - Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology
- Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
- National Police Clearance (within 2 years)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check
- Valid SA driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel in small aircraft for FIFO outreach
- Current First Aid & CPR
