At St Louis Nursing Home, Personal Care Workers support both direct and indirect resident care, helping to maintain a high standard of service while respecting residents' choices, wellbeing, and independence in a holistic and dignified manner. Working in our homelike environment and guided by the values and policies of St Louis Care and our Code of Conduct, you would report to the Registered Nurse on duty and the Nursing Home Manager. This role suits individuals with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellence, offering the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of our residents.

Role: Personal Care Worker

To be successful in this role:

• Knowledge of compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Previous experience within the Aged Care/Disability Sector

• Genuine commitment to the care and respect for the elderly residents

• Previous experience working in an Aged Care facility or health-related work 

• Excellent communication skills

• A team player and interpersonal skills

Essentials:

• National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years)
• Up to date Influenza vaccination
• Certificate III or above in Individual Support (Ageing)
