Occupational Therapist - Support at Home (Adelaide Based)

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Adelaide Aged Care and Support at Home teams. If you value person‑centred care and love building meaningful relationships with older people, this role is for you.

 

About the Role

 

We are looking for a warm, motivated Occupational Therapist to provide community‑based services to Support at Home clients across metropolitan Adelaide.

 

This role suits an OT who enjoys autonomy, meaningful connection, and supporting older adults to live independently, safely, and with dignity.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high‑quality OT assessments and intervention to Support at Home clients
  • Develop tailored therapeutic plans based on client goals
  • Support clients to maximise independence, safety, and functional capacity at home
  • Prescribe equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications
  • Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with program requirements

This is a fantastic opportunity for an OT who wants to specialise in aged care and make a genuine impact—right here in Adelaide.

 

About You

  • Compassionate, motivated, and passionate about supporting older adults
  • Skilled in person‑centred practice and building strong, trusting relationships
  • Comfortable working autonomously in the community
  • Collaborative, clinically sound, and proactive in problem‑solving
  • Values dignity, respect, and choice in every interaction

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • 1–2 years’ experience preferred (new graduates welcome)
  • National Police Clearance (within 2 years)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Valid SA driver’s licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Annual flu vaccination
